UNITED WEAVERS TO SHOW WITH PANAMA JACK LICENSEES AT HIGH POINT MARKET

The Panama Jack Home corporate showroom in High Point will display coordinated lifestyle looks from six home licensees.  Shown is an indoor-outdoor Panama Jack Signature collection Chainweaver rug from United Weavers with Panama Jack outdoor furniture by Pelican Reef.

NEW YORK -- After growing its footprint at last month's New York Home Fashions Market with a presence at three Manhattan showrooms, the rapidly expanding Panama Jack Home will bring six licensing partners together for the first time in High Point at the Panama Jack corporate home furnishings showroom at Market on Green, space 401.

Diane Carleo, director of sales and marketing for United Weavers of America told RugNews.com the company will display its entire Panama Jack collection on racks in High Point, and the rugs will be featured in vignettes with furniture and accessories from other licensees. "We left High Point Market 13 years ago when Las Vegas opened.  We were the first rug company to sign up for the Las Vegas show, and we are looking forward to coming back to High Point with Panama Jack," Carleo said.

Stephen Giles director of Panama Jack Home, Kim Manna, CEO of Panama Jack and Diane Carleo, director of sales and marketing for United Weavers at the March 2016 New York Home Fashions Market.

Stephen Giles, director of Panama Jack Home, explained that the Market on Green corporate showroom was created to display all Panama Jack Home licensees together to bring the lifestyle to life. "We're excited about bringing the Panama Jack lifestyle into the home through our licensing partners. We have six partners licensing the brand: Palmetto Home does case goods and upholstery, United Weavers does rugs, Pelican Reef licenses outdoor furniture and sun room, Stein World licenses accent furniture and lighting.

"Our two news partners, Magniflex which does mattresses, and Pegasus just launched this New York Fashion Market for white goods and pillows. We also have Westport Linens doing top of bedding, pet beds, and sheets. We've really expanded the brand because it's a casual lifestyle that everybody aspires to," Giles said.

"We're working on a couple of other licenses, but we are really excited to have United Weavers on board because rugs are such an important part of fashion and color in a home," he continued.  Panama Jack rugs, which officially launched at Atlanta International Rug Market in January, have been a hit with buyers, according to Carleo.

"We saw Panama Jack as an ideal fit because our forte is the themed rugs. We totally covered the lodge look, and decided to focus next on coastal. Who better than Panama Jack for the coastal look? They have cornered the market," she said.

Panama Jack rugs debuting at High Point Market are Palm Coast in Spice from the Signature Collection (above) and Sand Dollar in Peach from the Island Breeze range.

Rugs are divided into two collections, Panama Jack Signature, an indoor-outdoor hand-hooked in China range ($229), and Panama Jack Island Breeze, which includes machine made in Turkey rugs in two qualities: heat-set olefin ($129) and a textured polyester-and-olefin blend retailing at $229.  In High Point, buyers will see 20 Signature designs and 22 Island Breeze designs, each design offered in three sizes.

We continue to build Panama Jack's universal appeal as a leading lifestyle brand globally by developing markets around the world where the fun, casual, family-centric nature of our brand resonates well," said Panama Jack CEO Kim Manna. "Wherever we go and whatever we offer, we always stay true to our brand's mindset and lifestyle."
